Creating a simple, relatable houseplant resource

I am a plant person. The at-home downtime during the COVID-19 pandemic only rooted my passion for my green girls even deeper. As a personal project, I designed a fully responsive plant-dedicated blog using Figma. I also wrote 10 keyword-rich posts on various planty topics such as fertilizer, plant-specific guides, plant styling, and soil composition. I utilized the Elementor plugin from Divi to help develop the blog on Wordpress.

I learned a very important lesson about burnout in this project. Once the blog was published in 2022, I had exhausted myself on the project to the point where I was no longer interested in hosting it. I’m glad for all of the lessons learned during this project, and I was happy to resurface one of my favorite burn-out New York Times opinion posts of all time The Busy Trap.
